Sport-Thieme maintains constant contact with the leading sports federations. Our company sees itself as a pioneer in its field. Only through collaboration with specialists from various sports are we able to continuously seek product ideas and improvements, as well as identify and adopt new trends and movements.
Cooperative and collegial collaboration with our partners is a matter of course for us. Working hand in hand, our efforts are worth twice as much. That’s why we deliberately enter into partnerships to leverage the synergies that arise, always in the interest of our partners.
In close collaboration with leading regional sports associations, such as gymnastics federations, disability sports associations, sports teacher associations, the Snoezelen Foundation, and many others, we support the training and education of interested parties and athletes. Only through this shared foundation is it possible to bring the latest knowledge and research to athletes quickly and effectively.

adh
The General German University Sports Association (adh), founded on April 2, 1948, is the umbrella organization for university sports facilities in Germany. Currently, over 200 universities (including universities of applied sciences) with around 2.5 million students and 550,000 staff members are members of the adh. The association represents their interests and advocates for the development of university sports. Operating at the intersection of sport and education, it actively participates in organized sports both nationally and internationally.

NTB
The Lower Saxony Gymnastics Federation (NTB) is the largest sports association within the Lower Saxony Sports Federation, with over 800,000 members and nearly 2,800 clubs. It is also the largest state gymnastics federation within the German Gymnastics Federation. The clubs are organized into 44 districts and 4 gymnastics regions. Our historically developed, diverse sports and movement offerings are not focused on just one sport, but rather on the needs and interests of the target groups, making it a perfect fit with current trends and offering the opportunity for lifelong fitness. Children, teenagers, women, men, older adults, and families all benefit from our versatile programs. With more than 20 sports and specialty areas, we provide activities in recreational, popular, competitive, and health-related sports. Our members are active, modern, and health-conscious. Additionally, the NTB hosts major events such as the “Feuerwerk der Turnkunst” (Fireworks of Gymnastics), “Feuerwerk der Turnkunst | on stage,” and the “Erlebnis Turnfest” (Gymnastics Festival) that are not only for our members but for the wider public as well.

Feuerwerk der Turnkunst
For more than 35 years, the “Feuerwerk der Turnkunst” (Fireworks of Gymnastics) has captivated both young and old! Originally launched as a thank you to volunteers, our event has become Europe’s most successful gymnastics show. With 36 performances in 22 cities, we attract over 200,000 people each year. The secret to our success lies in gymnastics—with its clubs and passionate members who significantly shape the show, both as local groups on stage and as the audience. Our goal is to strengthen gymnastics and sports in general, thereby enriching society as a whole. That’s why we are proud to have Sport-Thieme as our main partner. Together, we offer our audience high-quality products that support and enhance their sporting activities, making them even more diverse.

BTV
The Bavarian Gymnastics Association (Bayerischer Turnverband e.V.) is the expert in gymnastics, fitness, and health sports in Bavaria—since 1861. The association represents 3,300 clubs and 900,000 members, making it the second-largest sports association in Bavaria. Overall, the BTV offers more than 20 sports and provides programs for all target groups, from young children to seniors. Additionally, it is an expert in fitness and health, earning the title of “Bavaria’s Fitness Booster.”

RhTB
The Rheinhessen Gymnastics Association (Rheinhessischer Turnerbund e.V., RhTB) is the governing body for gymnastics and gymnastics-related sports, including competitive, recreational, fitness, and health sports in the Rheinhessen region. It currently supports 197 clubs in four regions with a total of approximately 73,000 members. The association’s key areas of expertise include supporting club activities, offering training and continuing education for instructors and coaches, ensuring quality standards, promoting youth development, and providing support for competitive teams. The RhTB organizes competitions, large and special events, and offers guidance to its member clubs. Additionally, it represents the interests of its clubs and advocates on their behalf with umbrella organizations, local authorities, and other stakeholders.

PTB
The Palatinate Gymnastics Association (Pfälzer Turnerbund), the governing body for recreational, fitness, health, and competitive sports, is the second-largest sports association in the Palatinate region, with nearly 100,000 members in 363 clubs. The association also operates its own guesthouse, the Turnerjugendheim Annweiler, which can be used by clubs, groups, schools, as well as private individuals.

KiSS
A KiSS (Children’s Sports School) offers children a holistic sports education, allowing them to explore all sports from an age-appropriate and developmentally sensitive perspective. With the motto “Start early – specialize late,” the goal of KiSS is to provide a broad athletic foundation, encourage physical activity without committing to a single sport, and later guide the child into a sport that suits them. The curriculum focuses on developing and enhancing motor skills (fitness and coordination), building general athletic abilities, and fostering social competence. By establishing a KiSS in close collaboration with the club’s departments, resources can be utilized more effectively, ensuring the future of the sports club. The KiSS network, with its pedagogically and sport-focused curriculum, is the ideal partner for educational institutions in the realm of children’s sports.

LSV
The Schleswig-Holstein Sports Federation, with its approximately 2,500 sports clubs, 52 state sports associations, and 15 district sports federations, engages around one million people in the northernmost state of Germany. Sports are deeply embedded in all areas of society, making a significant communal contribution. This is especially evident in the support of young people’s development through (early childhood) physical activity and personality development, the integration and inclusion of individuals in need of support into the community, health promotion, and strengthening Schleswig-Holstein as a location factor, as well as in environmental and climate protection. Since its founding in 1947, the Sports Federation has carried out the tasks and duties outlined in its statutes, always aligning its actions with the needs of its members.

Landessportbund Berlin
The Berlin Sports Federation (Landessportbund Berlin) is the independent and voluntary association of sports federations, their amateur sports organizations, and district sports federations in the state of Berlin. It is a full member of the German Olympic Sports Federation (DOSB), with over 729,622 members and approximately 2,402 clubs in Berlin.

DSLV
The German Association of Sports Teachers (Deutscher Sportlehrerverband, DSLV) is the largest professional association in Germany for all physical education teachers and represents the interests of school sports in all areas of public life. The DSLV has around 10,000 members. Sixteen state associations and seven specialized sports teacher associations together form the national federation. The national federation is a member of the German Olympic Sports Federation (DOSB), the German Olympic Institute (DOI), the German Olympic Society (DOG), and the umbrella organization of European sports teacher associations, the European Physical Education Association (EUPEA). It also collaborates with various other associations and institutions. The DSLV publishes the leading journal on sports science and practice, Zeitschrift sportunterricht.

Special Olympics Deutschland
The qualification of all employees is a fundamental task for any organization that aims to ensure and improve its quality. Only with enough well-qualified staff can an organization achieve its goals. This is especially true for promoting sports for people with intellectual disabilities. The founding and development of the Special Olympics Academy addresses these increased demands.

BSN
The Disabled Sports Association of Lower Saxony (Behinderten-Sportverband Niedersachsen e.V., BSN) includes over 500 clubs and departments with more than 40,000 members. Under the motto “Play, Sports, and Movement for All,” these clubs and departments offer sports sessions under the guidance of sports educators and medical supervision/assistance. People with various disabilities or chronic illnesses can find sports programs tailored to their specific needs.

Aktionskreis Psychomotorik
The German Academy – Action Circle for Psychomotricity (Deutsche Akademie – Aktionskreis Psychomotorik e.V.) is the initiator and advocate of the psychomotor concept in Germany. It was founded in 1976 as a non-profit association in Hamm/Westphalia. Initially a small community of interest, it has since grown into a nationwide organization with approximately 2,500 active members. As a founding member of the European Forum for Psychomotricity, the ak’P plays a significant role in political and societal tasks related to psychomotricity in European countries.

Ostfalia University of Applied Sciences is a modern university specializing in engineering, health, law, social sciences, and business.

Snoezelen-Stiftung
The Snoezelen Foundation promotes the use of “Snoezelen” as a multifunctional concept for sensory stimulation in leisure, education, and therapy for people with disabilities, especially those with severe intellectual disabilities. It supports the idea of Snoezelen applications for people with disabilities, seniors, and children through public relations, information and experience exchange on national and international levels, training and education for users, promotion of scientific research, and certification of institutions and users to ensure quality standards.

GSID
The Society for Sensory Integration Jean Ayres, Germany and International (Gesellschaft für Sensorische Integration Jean Ayres, Deutschland und International e.V., GSID) was founded in 1993 by Kristiane Kull and Irmgard Wilfurth, among others. Both were experienced professionals in the fields of occupational therapy and special education, who had been intensively studying the sensory-integrative therapy developed by American Dr. A. Jean Ayres. This therapy helps children who have sensory-integrative disorders by allowing them, under the guidance of a sensory integration (SI) therapist, to experience and learn how to use their senses and act accordingly. The therapy takes place in a dedicated therapy room designed with materials to stimulate sensory experiences such as touch, balance, orientation, proprioception, sight, hearing, smell, and taste.

LessonPrep
LessonPrep.de is an innovative app designed for easy and efficient lesson planning. With intuitive tools, it enables teachers to structure their lessons clearly, organize materials, and adapt lesson plans flexibly.

DSLV Niedersachsen
The German Association of Sports Teachers (Deutscher Sportlehrerverband, DSLV) is the largest professional association in Germany for all physical education teachers. The DSLV has around 10,000 members nationwide. It represents the interests of school sports and physical education in all areas of public life. The German Sports Teachers Association of Lower Saxony is a member of the national federation. Members of the DSLV Lower Saxony teach at schools, universities, in sports clubs, and private sports schools. The DSLV publishes the most widely circulated monthly journal on sports science and practice in Germany (Zeitschrift sportunterricht).
