Our goal is to combine first-class product quality and excellent service with sustainable practices through the implementation of the EMAS environmental management system. This commitment drives us to develop innovative ideas and concepts. Together with our employees and partners, we are dedicated to learning from each other and actively contributing to the protection of our environment.
Our Initiatives for a Livable Future
- Energy efficiency & resource conservation: Our energy consumption is reduced by replacing an old gas heater in the warehouse with gas-fired radiant heaters, using recycled cardboard for packaging, and optimizing the offcuts from our wood panels during production.
- EMAS environmental management system: We are currently implementing the European environmental management system EMAS to continuously improve our environmental performance.
- Wood from sustainable forestry: We use wood and raw materials from responsibly managed, certified sources (FSC and PEFC).

Green initiatives in our company
Our dedicated environmental team is implementing several projects, including:
- Catering featuring a wide variety of vegan and vegetarian dishes on our premises
- Consistent use of recycled paper
- Green spaces at the Grasleben site enhanced to promote biodiversity (as of 2026: approx. 11% of the total area)
Social responsibility
Sustainability doesn’t stop at our company borders. We support numerous charitable projects and causes, particularly in the areas of sports, physical activity, education, and social welfare.
