Premiere in Haldensleben

This year marked the first time Future Day took place at our Haldensleben site. At our logistics center, the students discovered how around 450,000 parcels are processed and shipped to our customers each year across 26,500 square meters.

Future Day was not just about observing. The students got actively involved. They explored the trainee role of a warehouse logistics specialist, both in theory and in practice, gained insight into commercial tasks within logistics, and joined a guided warehouse tour. A small product course added variety, featuring activities such as hobby horsing and a pallet truck game.

A big thank you to our entire logistics team for making this premiere a success, especially Antonia, Nicole, Samira, Steven, and Willem for their planning and execution.

Students explore Sport-Thieme in Grasleben

Our Grasleben location also offered a varied program. The morning started with an interactive company presentation led by our HR trainee Finja and trainee Jonathan. They introduced not only the company but also our training opportunities. Estimation questions encouraged participation right from the start and kept the group engaged.

Afterwards, supported by our trainees Steffi and Sarah, the students set off on a scavenger hunt through the company in small groups. This playful approach gave them further insights into different departments. Highlights included a tour followed by a quiz about our wood production, as well as hands-on sports activities like cornhole. We would also like to thank Finja, Jonathan, Niko, Sarah, and Steffi for their dedicated organization and support.
